No Plans to Activate Substack $ Pledges
...and algorithm death on Amazon?
Thank you to everyone who has pledged me money through Substack. I have no plans to activate / turn on these payments, but appreciate your generosity and encouraging messages. (I think Substack defaults to taking pledges, but it is up to the channel owner to activate them or not.)
Though I don't need much £/$, and have more than I need, I am especially grateful when people order any of the New Old books, as I am dearly wish to spread the word on Scripture & Tradition. So if you were to buy some of the books, perhaps as Christmas gifts, that helps my purpose very much — or else leaving a rating on Amazon is very helpful.
As you can see from the graph, for the first four books the Amazon algorithm was very positive, even taking off, but after If You Believed Moses (Vol 2) got banned (Nov 2023), then it seems the algorithm became indifferent to the series, which now relies on word of mouth. Apologies to anyone who is tired of me pushing the books!
The more research I do, the more I discover priests have said similar things on the JQ century after century (millennia, in fact), and whereas it was once well received, priests have become more and more sidelined for it. Absolutely no surprise. No regrets. All in.
Thank you to all those who have purchased New Old books already. For anyone interested to buy some, perhaps as gifts, most of the books are available here.
And the banned book is here.
Early in the New Year, God willing, the last video in the HN series will be posted: https://odysee.com/@tarsus:c
Blessed Advent!

God bless you Fr. Mawdsley: would that we had thousands of priests of your courage and example.
God Bless you, Father. I will try to purchase one monthly. You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek 🙏🏻
